Please do not ruin the experience for those who do not want you to use it if you're the host. To those who are so hellbent on still using this mod to stealth in payday, do what you want. If silent assassin really makes the game more fun, and makes it feel different, there are many other stealth games that allow you to play however you want, such as Metal Gear Solid 5, since that's one game someone was comparing this ""mod"" to. I have over 3,000 hours in the game, and I've owned it since early 2014, it's plenty of time to get used to the mechanics of the game, anyone can also get used to it in way less time. I understand that many of you will still find some kind of counter-argument and try to make it seem like silent assassin isn't a cheat, but let's be real.

But I have yet to see one of those automated messages pop up with those settings at all, and I've joined tons of lobbies where people feel the need to mod the game into ground, and silent assassin is there almost every time, sometimes even if the player is non-infamous and seems new to the game. I know that the ""mod"" can be heavily customized to make the pagers limited, and the detection percentage determine if the pager goes off as well. And honestly, taking a core gameplay mechanic that is essential for the stealth in payday and throwing it in the garbage doesn't make the game more fun or better at all. I played Shadow Raid and the Yacht and I managed to take out every guard on the yacht and every guard in the building on shadow raid with little to no issue at all. And I'm very disappointed to say that it really just feels like I'm cheating.

Why? Edit: Galatians 4:16 | To those who think these 'mods' are necessary to play the game, please consider changing your play style, and as I've said in one response, getting all 14 trip mines combined with the aced high value target skill only costs 1/5 of the total skill points from level 100 and they make a huge difference for stealth.ĭOUBLE EDIT: I decided to see what the whole deal was about the silent assassin ""mod"".
